Choreography

Dancers at Creative Edge Dance Studio have the very unique opportunity to choreograph their own piece and perform it in the Spring Concert.

This  process and result aligns with our curriculum to build an innovative and creative individual on many levels.

Dancers who take this opportunity will have the support of faculty to ensure great results.

Some parents say they will wait to make sure their dancer has enough experience to choreograph, produce and perform original choreography- THIS IS THE EXPERIENCE!

Dancers are given skills through the year in their Contemporary classes to learn to do this.

It is recommended that dances are kept 2 minutes and under for a manageable progression.

There is a fee associated with this opportunity to cover the cost of private meetings with faculty.

Dancer’s may do a solo, duet, trio or bigger group piece.

Dancers use their own costumes or may rent a costume from the dance school.

Let’s create a memory, and a very valuable  learning experience- add to the dance world!
