Performances

Dancers perform in a variety of venues through out the year.

Dancers, depending on age and classes, perform in festivals, adjudications and full concerts up to 4 times a year.

These include The Festival of Trees, Adjudication Event, Utah Dance Festival, and  the year end Spring production.

Both the Adjudicated Event and Utah Dance Festival offer a stage performance in front of a panel of highly qualified professionals. They are not  competitions, but a place to improve your performance.

At these  performance events, dancers (2nd grade and up) also receive a class or classes from a leading contestant of  “So You Think You Can Dance”, University Faculty and Professional dancers.

All dancers in the school fully participate in the year end concert.

There are also encouraged opportunities for dancer’s taking at minimum 2 classes a week (ballet, contemporary, or jazz, with at least one of the classes being either ballet or contemporary) to choreograph and perform a solo, or small group piece at the year end concert.
